DIRECTIONS TO THE FARM:

FROM HIGHWAY 26 (from Cedar Hills/North Beaverton/West Portland areas): about 45 minutes
1.
Take US-26 West toward BEAVERTON / HILLSBORO.
2.    Take the GLENCOE RD/NORH PLAINS exit- EXIT 57
3.
Turn LEFT/SOUTH at the exit onto NW GLENCOE RD, and go 1.3 miles
4.    Turn RIGHT/WEST onto NW ZION CHURCH RD, and go 3.6 miles.  (Along the way, Zion Church Rd becomes Cornelius-Schefflin Rd)
5.    At the first roundabout, take the first exit onto NW VERBOORT RD. and go 0.4 miles
6.    At the second roundabout, take the third exit onto NW MARTIN RD. and go 1.9 miles
7.    At the stop sign, turn LEFT onto QUINCE ST/ OR-47. Continue to follow OR-47 a total of 16.3 miles.  You'll pass through the small towns of Gaston and Yamhill (be sure to obey posted speed limits).  We are 0.6 mile south of  the blinking yellow light in "downtown" Yamhill.  The highway makes a slight bend to the left, and our driveway is at that bend, on the right (west) side of the street.  The house number (15713) is on the mailbox.

FROM DOWNTOWN HILLSBORO/ALOHA/DOWNTOWN BEAVERTON:  about 30 minutes
1.
Find your way south of Hillsboro and west of Beaverton to the intersection of Highway 219 (Glencoe Road, or 1st Avenue in Hillsboro) and  Highway 10 (Canyon Road in Beaverton).  This intersection is about 10 miles west of Beaverton and five miles south of Hillsboro.
2.    Go south from the intersection about 50 yards, and turn RIGHT onto SW BALD PEAK RD.  Stay to the right at the “Y” intersection, and proceed steeply uphill a total of 3.8 miles.  On a clear day, the view on the way to the top includes Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, Mt Adams, Mt Hood, and Mt Jefferson.
3.
At the stopsign at the top, turn RIGHT onto SW LAURELWOOD RD and come back down Bald Peak.  On the way down, you’ll get a spectacular view of the coast range and the valley, including a view of Hagg Lake.  Continue downhill and through the small town of Laurelwood and around a couple of curves to the “T” intersection and stopsign, a total of 3.2 miles from the top of the mountain.
4.    Turn LEFT onto SW SPRING HILL RD and go 1.7 miles to the stopsign.
5.    Turn RIGHT onto FLETT RD and go 1.4 miles to the stopsign.
6.    Turn LEFT onto OR-47 and go 6.4 miles to our farm.  You'll pass through the small town of Yamhill with no stops (be sure to obey posted speed limit).  We are 0.6 mile south of  the blinking yellow light in "downtown" Yamhill.  The highway makes a slight bend to the left, and our driveway is at that bend, on the right (west) side of the street.  The house number (15713) is on the mailbox.

FROM PORTLAND: about an hour or FROM NEWBERG: about 20 minutes
1.
Take I-5 South
2.
Exit 278 Donald/Aurora – turn RIGHT/WEST and go about ten miles to the only stopsign.  (Along the way, this road becomes McKay Road.  For the return trip to Portland, you’ll turn left from Highway 219 onto McKay Rd.)
3.    Turn RIGHT/NORTH onto Highway 219, and continue about five miles to the city of Newberg.  In Newberg, follow the highway as it takes a bend to the left, a bend to the right, and a left turn at the stoplight to merge with Highway 99W.  DO NOT turn right toward Hillsboro and Scholls, but continue another half mile or so through downtown Newberg and over the railroad tracks.  By this time you should be in the far right lane.
4.
Turn RIGHT/NORTHWEST onto Highway 240 toward Yamhill and Chehalem Valley.  Continue about 11 miles to the blinking red light and stopsign in “downtown” Yamhill.  Be sure to observe posted speed limits in Yamhill.
5.
Turn LEFT/SOUTH onto Highway 47 and go 0.6 mile.  The highway makes a slight bend to the left, and our driveway is at that bend, on the right (west) side of the street.  The house number (15713) is on the mailbox.

FROM McMINNVILLE OR CARLTON: about 15 or 5 minutes, respectively
1.
Take Highway 47 NORTH.  We are 2.5 miles north of Carlton, on the LEFT/WEST side of the Highway.  Look for two big clear plastic greenhouses on the left, and we are the next driveway, just as the highway takes a last bend to the right a half-mile before Yamhill.
