Hello and Welcome!  We're so glad you found us!

Kookoolan Farms is a small, pasture-based, diversified family farm.  We offer chicken eggs from pasture-raised hens; vegetable CSA (accepting waitlist names for late-season 2010 subscriptions); humanely raised, hand-butchered chicken April through October; our most specialty poultry:  heritage breed "Le Poulet" chickens raised to full 16-week sexual maturity outdoors on pasture under our orchard on local no-soy no-corn feed only available end of July, end of August, and end of September; pheasant, ducks and other poultry; and custom-processed, grass-fed, pasture-raised beef, lamb and pork shares.  Custom-processed meats must be reserved in advance while the animal is still alive.

Beef shares (1/8th animal, about 80-90 pounds hanging weight, about 50-60 pounds finished meat) available September, and December 2010.

Lamb shares (1/2 animal, about 30-33 pounds hanging weight, about 25-28 pounds finished meat) available August through November 2010.

New!  Pork available (1/2 animal, about 80 pounds hanging weight, about 75 pounds finished meat), available January through August every year.  2010 pork is sold out, next availability March 2011.

Red Bourbon Turkeys for Thanksgiving 2010 are sold out but we will take your name on a waitlist.

For beef, pork, lamb, and turkey reservations we require a $25 deposit.
